“Kue”(Taiwanese rice cake.) has been an traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Each and every Kue embodies its very own unique culture and wisdom. Traditional Taiwanese families usually make kue together, mix with their own favor and family heritage.
In order to preserve the culture and tradition of Kue, MIGO Bikué designed the DIY kit combines toolkit. Incorporate with concept such as STEAM and culture preservation, to design C-STEAM(Culture、Sience、Technology、Engineering、Arts and Mathmatics) multidisciplinary learning experience. The Toolkit uses wasted paper as the material to create traditional Kue. While making the Kue, seeds can be added in the Kue to deliver a renewable and green implication to the product.
he DIY Toolkit incorporates traditional culture and lifestyle, as well as reusable elements. While making the Kue, user can experience the traditional wisdom and culture of the traditional Taiwanese lifestyle, as well as learning how to reuse wasted materials. By combining the old and the new, we believe that traditional culture could be revitalized and pass down to next generation.
